TVFCU Announces Key Leadership Promotions: Kathy Hall to Branch Director and Jason Waller to Director of Training

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (March 26, 2025) — Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union (TVFCU) is proud to announce two key leadership promotions, effective Jan. 1, 2025. Kathy Hall has been promoted to the role of branch director, and Jason Waller will take on the position of director of training. These well-deserved advancements recognize both individuals' exceptional contributions, longstanding dedication and leadership within the organization.
It is with great pleasure that we announce the promotion of Kathy Hall to branch director. Kathy's journey with TVFCU began in 1995 when she started her career in the Member Solutions department. After working part-time, Kathy returned to full-time service in the Finance department and subsequently transitioned to the Records Retention area. Throughout her career, Kathy has demonstrated unwavering dedication, sharp business acumen and exemplary leadership.
Kathy's commitment to excellence became even more apparent when she took on the role of financial services consultant at the Ringgold Branch, where she provided outstanding member service and operational efficiency. In 2018, Kathy was promoted to branch manager of the Ringgold Branch, and in 2023, she expanded her leadership role by overseeing the Highway 41 Branch as well. Her ability to lead multiple branches with success showcased her strategic vision and exceptional management skills. As branch director, Kathy will oversee an expanded portfolio, driving continued success through her wealth of experience and commitment to excellence.
We are equally excited to announce the promotion of Jason Waller to director of training. Jason has been an integral part of TVFCU since 1994, beginning his career as a teller at the Hamilton Place Branch. He quickly excelled in his role, moving to the Hixson Branch where he was promoted to head teller. Throughout his tenure, Jason has consistently demonstrated leadership, initiative and an unparalleled commitment to the credit union’s growth and success.
In 1998, Jason became a branch operations specialist, providing crucial back-office support. His strategic contributions were pivotal in the establishment of TVFCU's Business Services Department in 2003, and his leadership as manager of branch operations and special projects from 2006 to 2014 earned him a reputation for excellence. Jason’s passion for development and education led him to the role of operational training manager in 2014, where he has been instrumental in shaping and delivering impactful training programs that have developed the skills of countless team members. As director of training, Jason will now be tasked with further enhancing TVFCU’s workforce development, ensuring the credit union remains a leader in the industry.
The promotions of both Kathy and Jason reflect their tireless dedication and deep commitment to the success of TVFCU. Their remarkable leadership, dedication to service, and strategic vision make them both the perfect fit for their new roles.
