Important Information Regarding Electronic Processing

Please take note if you have any electronic debits or credits generated from another company. Both credits and debits must have the complete and correct account number.

Before a debit or credit can properly post to your Share/Savings account, the account number must have 9 digits. For example if your account number is “18363″, you will need to give the originating company the numbers “000018363″ as your account number.

Before a debit or credit can properly post to your Checking account, the account number must have 12 digits. For example, if your account number is “18363″, you will need to give the originating company the numbers “000018363105″ as your account number. This information is located on the bottom of your checks.

These changes also apply to items that have been previously set up. Please review all information given to originating companies who handle electronic debits and credits for your account. Then contact them with the updated account information.

We want to be sure all future items will properly and accurately post to your account. If you have questions about the changes in ACH Electronic Processing please call 634-3600.
