eStatements
What are eStatements?
eStatements are a convenient and secure way for you to receive your TVFCU statements from within Online24. Traditional paper statements have some disadvantages such as getting lost in the mail or stolen from a mailbox . They also use up precious natural resources. eStatements are secure, convenient, generally arrive more quickly than paper statements, you can print your eStatements from the privacy of your own home, or simply save the eStatement to the hard drive on your computer. Of course, the last 15 statements will be available for viewing/printing from within Online24. The best part is that eStatements are FREE!!
How does it work?
Enrolling in eStatements stops you from receiving traditional, mailed paper statements. When you enroll in eStatements, you will login to Online24 and retrieve the statement from within the security of our site.
Note:
We don’t send your credit union statements through regular unsecured email because email is not a private or secure form of communication. When you login to Online24 there are several layers of security that you must pass through in order to access your accounts. Once you pass through those layers of security then you can be assured that your statement (and financial information) will remain completely private. eStatements are offered in PDF format.
PDFs require Adobe Acrobat Reader™.
Don’t have the FREE Adobe Acrobat Reader™ software on your machine?
Click on the Get Adobe Acrobat Reader™ icon and go to the Adobe web site to download the FREE software.

Q: Do I need any special software to use the eStatement service?
A: If you have Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer, you’re all set. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can click here for your free download.
Q: Does it matter what browser I use to access the web site?
A: Any up-to-date browser should work. We would recommend Microsoft Internet Explorer version 8 or higher, Firefox version 3 or higher, or Safari version 4 or higher. Other browsers may work but have not been tested and could provide limited functionality.
Q: How will I know when my registration has been completed?
A: Once you’ve completed the registration process you will receive an email confirming your successful registration.
Q: How will I know when I can view my statement?
A: You will receive an email notification whenever a new statement is available for viewing. If the statement is not viewed within a certain time frame, a reminder email will be sent as a follow up.
Q: Can I print my statement out?
A: You can print your statements and you can also save them to your hard drive, diskette, or CD.
Hover the mouse pointer over the actual statement image and a hover menu will appear that includes a printer icon. This is the way that eStatements need to be printed. Simply using the File menu or printer icon on the Internet browser won’t work.
Q: How long will my statement be available for viewing?
A: eStatements will generally remain available for viewing for at least 15 months after they have been posted.
Q: What should I do if my email address changes?
A: Simply visit the Self Service tab in Online24 and update your personal information.
Q: I got an error message while trying to view an eStatement. It says “There was an error processing a page. A font contains a bad CMap/Encoding.” What does this mean?
A: You are using an old version of Adobe Acrobat Reader, and need to upgrade to version 4 or higher. Adobe recommends that you first uninstall any older version of Acrobat Reader prior to installing the updated version. Once this has been done you should be able to view your eStatements with no problems. Click here to get the latest version.
Q: What do I do if I’m having trouble viewing my statement?
A: Recent changes to your operating system software such as upgrades, downloads, and/or system enhancements can affect your computer’s ability to connect with secure sites and view PDF documents including our eStatement site.
We recommend trying the following steps:
- Verify that your computer is current on all system updates.
- Un-install and re-install Adobe Acrobat Reader. http://get.adobe.com/reader/
- Ensure that you are using the most up-to-date version of your browser.
- Some pop-up blocker and firewall programs may prevent access to eStatements. If you utilize these types of applications, you may need to disable certain features of the programs in order to access your eStatements. This can be a setting in Internet Explorer or part of your computer’s firewall or anti-virus program. You will need to temporarily turn off pop-up blockers to view eStatements. After viewing, make sure to turn these features back on.
- Add this website address to the trusted site list. https://www.bitstatement.org. In Internet Explorer, this setting located under Tools-Internet Options-Security-Trusted Sites.
Specifically for Mac users:
- For Safari users: When viewing the eStatement, right click (or ctrl click if you have no external mouse and have not yet set up dual buttons on your track pad) on the eStatement image. There will be an option to open the PDF in a new window (or open with Preview). Select Yes. From the new window, there will be an option to either print or save the eStatement. If you have disabled your PDF plugin, you will need to enable it.
